American Express joins in building the Best Airport in Europe
Helsinki airport has been nominated among the best airports in Europe many times in recent years. This year the hard work was finally awarded by crowning Helsinki Airport as the best airport in Europe. Helsinki airport was appraised as a calm, clean and efficient environment. Special thanks were given to the fluent passenger processes, and not without credit, as this is one of the key areas in which the airport puts emphasis.
In October the passenger processes of those travelling frequently were improved again, when a new Premium Lane security area benefit was launched for American Express Platinum and Centurion Cardmembers. In the Premium Lane, American Express Platinum and Centurion Cardmembers can move through security quickly and continue directly to the business lounges in airside to wait for their flight. This adds passenger comfort and relieves stress by minimizing waiting time on the airport. The service was launched Mid-October and has been positively welcomed by Cardmembers.
”Frequent flying for both business and pleasure is highlighted in our customer segment, so we wanted to reward American Express Cardmembers with first class service also in this way,” rejoices Fredrik Sauter, Country Manager Nordics. ”We are constantly on the look-out for new ways to reward our clients for choosing American Express and increasing their commitment to working with us. Premium Lane is a manifest of our commitment to improve our customers’ everyday life.” Fredrik Sauter adds.
Premium Lane is available in both Schengen terminals at Helsinki Airport and is open to all American Express Platinum and Centurion card holders.
